RoofTop Accessories has patents and patents pending on "zero penetration" guard-rail systems that meets OSHA requirements for rooftop openings. Hatch Rail Systems will not damage the roof's base flashing or void your roof warranty by drilling into the curb or applying heavy iron bases on the completed roof system surface.
Roof Hatch features a 14 gauge galvanized steel cover with a 22 gauge galvanized steel liner with a Hammertone powder coat gray finish and standard heavy duty hinge. 1” fiberboard insulation surrounds the base and there is 1” fiberglass insulation between the exterior door cover and liner. This roof hatch is compression operated with a shock absorbing cylinder for safe closure.
The New Safety Hatch combines a roof hatch with a OSHA compliant safety guard rail around the opening. Added accessories built-in, new roof membrane base flashing receiver, safety non-skid reflective tape strip on outer edge, and a optional warning flashing alert light.
